Wikileak’s Founder Again in Court

Julien Assange, the Australian founder of the whistleblower website Wikileaks publishing confidential information about the US and UK governments and their affairs in the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts as well as their international position, is again in court where hes extradiction to Sweden is being discussed in a Crown Court.
Assange’s defence have come up with quite a disturbing argument threatening the life of the respondent. The lawyers have concluded that, despite the fact he is not guilty of the rape accusations in Sweden, Assange might be a victim of a larger scheme and thus deported to the US. This would be in contrast with Article 3 of the European Convention on Human Rights that prohibits torture since the Wikileaks founder might face some serious problems in the USA and be sent to Guantanamo Bay where he, undoubtedly, would be an object of torture and mistreatment.
Additionally, the defence is highlighting some considerations that its client might even face the death penalty in the US and thus be completely and unfairly treated if deported to Sweden. According to Assange the political unrest caused by his leaked documentation on his website and the uncomfortable situation he has put many countries in is the forming factor for his prosecution in Sweden and for the alleged accusations of rape. The Wikileaks founder shocked the world with documentation on various topics that revealed some highly confidential information and was treated as a threat to national security and peace establishment in the conflict zones in the world. Additionally, the information on Wikileaks regarding the problems with the relations of the Western World with the Middle East has caused quite a lot of problems and requested many explanations for the main political players which might be considered a serious problem for Assange who soon might get the cheapest flights to Sweden.
